After the restoration of democracy, Nepal increased its bilateral relationships through the opening of embassies or consular offices where there had not been one, which thus expanded the horizon of employment opportunities for Nepali workers. The prospect of relatively more lucrative work in foreign countries has increasingly appealed to Nepalese as it has to many other Asian migrant workers.

Training & Orientation

Before going abroad for working purpose, it is compulsion to be acknowledged about the country. For this purpose, we have to take orientation class. In orientation class, we can get more information about the culture, traditions, ways of sustaining, rules and regulations and so on.

This is awareness training and it’s compulsory. In the Department of Foreign Employment from legally registered trading institution.

Training duration

Training will be of two days. Among two days, first day will be of 6 hours and 30 minutes and second day will be of 6 hours. Altogether it will be of 12 hours and 30 minutes.

Total participants: 25 participants can be kept in each training.

Contents Included In Orientation Training

Objectives of training-Foreign employment-related knowledge and its negative and positive impacts.
Pre-test and pre-preparation before going abroad.
Safe foreign-employment and safe journey.
Health security and employment security.
Laws of Nepal about foreign employment.
One hour geographical information about the country you are going.
Need of self-security and special training.
Behavior and conduct of workers and their welfare, rights and duties.
Introduction to HIV & AIDS, its transmission and non-transmission, its stages and its prevention.
Health check-up and consultation about safe-sex behaviors, blames, discrimination and venerable diseases.
Utilization of money and shell.
Evaluation and completion of learning

Documentation

Requirement of documents vary from country to country. Documents requirements also depend on whether the embassy of manpower importing has a diplomatic mission in Nepal or not. Basically, we demand two types of documents before making a final deal for sending workers overseas. We follow the in-detail government provisions to avoid unnecessary hassles to the workers.

DEMAND LETTER
A formal letter issued by the employer to service provider. With full detail; including Number of Worker, Job Category, Monthly Basic Salary, Contract Period, Working Hours and all other terms and conditions like; Food, Accommodation, Medical, Insurance, Air Ticket, Service Charge and etc.

POWER OF ATTORNEY
A letter issued by the employer authorizing service provider. to act on behalf of the employer in recruiting workers and to carry out all necessary formalities related with respective Embassy and related agencies of Government of Nepal.

GUARANTEE LETTER
This letter is issued by employer addressing the Consulate General of respective Embassy addressing him/her of appointment of The River Overseas pvt. Ltd. as a lawful recruiting agency of employer and to carry out all Visa formalities with Embassy.

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
This agreement will made between Employer and Employee clearly stating and precisely all terms and conditions.

AGENCY AGREEMENT
This agreement is made in between First Party (Employer) and Second Party (Recruiting Agency) mentioning all terms and conditions for placing human resource from Nepal.
